So I’ve subscribed to Paper Pumpkin for almost the entire three years of its existence and I have to admit I rarely ever finish all the projects but I do love coming up with alternate ideas. It’s also a great way to keep my stock of dimensionals well supplied.
This months kit is called Banner Surprise and its full of all sorts of fun stuff like gold metallic letters, washi tape, and a huge bag of sequins! I know right, I was so excited when my box arrived I couldn’t believe it. The awesome part is if you currently are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber once you join you can purchase refill packs of previous months so you can create this card and many more. I could tell you a million reasons why I love Paper Pumpkin but really you just have to try it and see for yourself.
I did make a banner and card like the instructions laid out and then I made this guy. It’s so fun to come up with alternate projects!
I turned one of the banners on the side and filled it with sequins, I did throw in a star from the Confetti Celebration stamp set just cause it went so well, what do you think? The mint paper is stamped with Peekaboo Peach and it’s actually the envelope that I cut and folded, who would have known. The washi tape is on top of the card stock and although it’s a little hard to tell from the photo there are actually gold metallic and peekaboo peach lines running across the tape. I hope you like this project, I plan to make a couple more since this one barely put a dent in all the supplies that where packed in this kit, and did I mention this months kit came with TWO ink spots! It sure did, I love this kit, the stamp set is simple yet versatile and exclusive to Paper Pumpkin, yet another reason to love these kits.
